Hi I'm Brent

I am a native Arizonan. I love being in the desert and hunting and catching rattlesnakes. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a 4th generation Arizonan. I married my high school sweetheart and we have been married for 30 years. We have 3 children ages 24, 21 and 13. I am self employed in the construction industry and am in the process of starting a new business in the auction industry. My family enjoys being together. One of our favorite things to do is spending time out of doors in the Arizona desert. We enjoy riding jeeps, quads and motorcycles and searching for reptiles and the different critters that live in the desert. We also enjoy getting together with large groups of our family and friends either cooking on the grill or in our outdoor pizza oven. This is a great way for us to get to know our neighbors and spend time with them. I also enjoy listening to good old rock music and old country, the louder the better and when we entertain this is usually part of our fun!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS faith, I did however, marry a member of a different faith. I knew that she loved her Heavenly Father and that she had a wonderful spirit. I was able to baptize her shortly after we were married and was later be sealed to her for time and all eternity in the Mesa, Arizona Temple. My LDS faith has enriched my life and the life of my family. My family is the most important thing in my life. I want to be with them forever. By living the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I know that we can be together as a family for eternity. Although I am far from perfect, I believe that as we continue to grow , learn and serve and do the things our Prophets and leaders have asked, I can not only bless my families life but those around me also. I know that our Heavenly Father will bless us more that we can ever know, if we obey His commandments and do His will.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by staying actively involved in my church. I have worked with the youth in my church for many years and I love being around them. I have been blessed to serve in different callings where I often feel somewhat inadequate at the start but usually come away with an increased knowledge and a deeper understanding of why it is important to serve and participate in whatever way the Lord needs me. It sometimes takes me out of my comfort zone but it gives me opportunities to grow and increase my testimony of our Heavenly Father and His plan of happiness for each of us. In these crazy times that we are living in, I have the blessing of peace in my life that can only come from serving our family and those around us. I love this Gospel and the blessing that it has brought into my life and can't imagine my life without it.
