Hi I'm Jaron

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I am a full time college student studying to become a physicians assistant. I work part time to keep enough money for rent and some mac & cheese:) My favorite thing to do is spend time with my family! I like playing pickup basketball, shotgun shooting, rappelling, and just having a good time.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because nothing that I have ever experienced (even if I have not lived that long) compares with what it feels like to feel personally how much God loves me and to know what he wants me to do. Things happen in my life, sometimes they are great things like being with family or having success at work or understanding organic chemistry:), and sometimes they are hard things like disappointments or losses or just hard days. Knowing that God loves me and what he wants me to do makes both of those kinds of things better. Part of knowing that God loves me and what he wants me to do is that I know that He has put a Prophet on the earth today so that I can know Him better. Knowing that God loves me, what he wants me to do, and that he has a living Prophet on the earth today puts a peace and feeling inside of me that makes life have purpose, joy, and value. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be more like Christ every day. Going to Church on Sunday is a time to learn more about Him and what I can do to be more like him. Nobody there is perfect and everyone is there to help one another. Sometimes I am asked ahead of time to help teach a lesson from the scriptures or to give a talk at Church or to visit families and make sure that they are ok and taken care of. I think that living my faith is trying to come to personally know Christ better, and the best way to do that is to try to follow his example.
