Hi I'm Marta

I'm a sister. I'm a daughter. I'm an outdoor kind of person. I'm a reader. I'm a friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love being outdoors I love hiking and doing anything to be outside. Being outdoors just shows me everyday how much Heavenly Father loves me and all his children. I love to read and I think that the best day is spent with a book. I love spending time with friends and doing anything active. I lived in Japan from the time I was 6 months old to my 4th birthday and I love Japanese food. I love to eat different kinds of food from all over the world. My favorite kind of music is big band/swing music from the WWII era, but I love every kind of music. My family is the most important thing to me next to the Gospel. I am so blessed to be able to have grown up in this church and I am so grateful to my parents for always being a righteous example to me. I love to learn about everything. I have no idea what I want to be when I grow up because I want to be everything. I am currently a student at BYU in Provo, UT and absolutely love being in a place I can learn so much around people who share the same values.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family and I cannot image a life without this Gospel, this knowledge in my life. It is the one constant thing I have in my life and I know I will always be a part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I truly believe in this gospel with all my heart. I have seen people in many different stages of life with and without this Gospel and I know that this is the only true church of God. I honestly know Heavenly Father loves me and everyone around me. I testify of the power of the Book of Mormon, that it is the word of God and that it can change lives. I have allowed it to change my life and it has been the best decision of my life. I know this church is true and I testify that through living the gospel to its fullest we can have eternal life and live with Heavenly Father again in perfect truth.

How I live my faith

Every day I try to live as Heavenly Father would have me live. I attend church meetings every Sunday and am blessed with the opportunity to attend a University where I feel the Spirit of God in every class I attend. I study the scriptures constantly and try to be a good example in all that I do and say. Mostly I just try to be a conduit for God's love to the people around me.
