Hi I'm Beau

I grew up in Arizona. I am married to a wonderful woman. I am a father of five children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My interests revolve around my family, which are currently sports and cooking. My favorite sport is football, but one of my sons is becoming quite the soccer player so my interest is growing. Two of my sons are in the Boy/Cub Scout programs and I have started to participate as a Scout leader over the last year. I really like the sense of patriotism and citizenship the scouting programs promote. My oldest daugher has taken an interest in cooking and have no issues in taste testing her creations - Yum! My other daughter is becoming quite the gymnist and I am amazed at her athletic ability as such a young age. I work for a Fortune 500 technology company and enjoy the work, but struggle with work/life balance. I am always interested in technology and most recently have become interested in financial stocks.

Why I am a Mormon

The reason why in words is hard to come by, but I guess the answer is because it feels right. I am generally a skeptical person and even suspcious of feelings, so as I explore and learn different aspects of the teachings I am rewarded with a logical understanding that appeals to my own mental questions. The idea that the Heavens are open and our Heavenly Father loves us and wants the best for us is confirming. The guidance around treating our bodies well by not introducing harmful or addictive substances is a powerful message. The standards are high, but shouldnt goals be challenging to obtain? There is a great sense of well-being when you are doing what you should be and stretching to be your very best.

How I live my faith

I am involved with the youth of my neighborhood though church and scouting. The most important thing for me (which helped me as a youth) is to make an impression on each of these youth that will help them on their life course in making the very best decision.
