Hi I'm Brittany Pace

I'm a daughter of God. I'm a future: missionary, teacher, and mother. I'm a baker. I'm a singer. I'm a dreamer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Arizona most of my life. Some call it barren. I call it beautiful. Arizona is a humble portrayal of some of God's finest creations. Nothing is more breathtaking than an Arizona sunset. Angels must paint the vibrant streaks of color. Three years ago, I decided to switch high schools after much thought and prayer. For me, this was a giant leap of faith. Enrolling in a different school, last minute, meant: changing seminary buildings, driving longer than is convenient, and finding new friends. Everyone told me I was crazy, and maybe I am. All I know is that received a prompting, and that I followed it. On campus I'm involved in: Student Council, Best Buddies, and DECA. Outside of school I take voice lessons. I'm the girl who sings in the shower and belts songs with a hairbrush for a microphone. I am learning ASL, a beautiful language. Signing has taught me that you don't always need words to express yourself. I love to bake. You can always find me in the kitchen, apron tied around my waist, rolling pin in hand. Right now I am saving up for a trip to Africa. The culture fascinates me. I dream of volunteering at an orphanage there my Senior summer. After I graduate from high school I plan on attending BYU Provo. I hope to earn my degree in Religious Education and work for CES as a seminary instructor. I'm absolutely determined to serve a mission. In the Lord's time table, I look forward to being married in the temple and starting my family in faith.

Why I am a Mormon

The word limit for this section is 2000 characters, but the answer to question is simple. I'm Mormon because The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is God's true church. There is no gray area. I read The Book of Mormon, I prayed to Heavenly Father for an answer, and I received it. Since that powerful confirmation I have never doubted the truthfulness of this gospel.

How I live my faith

I live my faith day by day. This life is a time to learn and grow. I am not a perfect person, but I am trying to better myself with each new day. I want people to look back on my life and be able to say, "Brittany was a witness of Christ." I have found that the best way to emulate the Savior is through service. As I reflect on His life I see that His entire mortal existence was an act of service. He left his exalted throne, to come into this world in the humblest of circumstances. He performed miracles and taught multitudes. He loved all He met with a perfect love. He showed mercy and forgiveness. He lived a sinless life, yet he chose to pay for all our imperfections. He is my Redeemer. He gave His life, to save mine. I cannot repay Him with lavish gifts or large amounts of money, but I can repay Him with the way I live.
