Hi I'm Lindsay

I am a wife, a mother, and a I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My husband and I have been married for 2 years and we have a sweet little daughter. I love being a wife and a mother and I am blessed to be able to stay at home with our baby to raise her. I love reading and I love making crafts and decorating during naptime! I love being a mother. Sometimes it can be challenging, especially, but it is the most rewarding and special job that I can possibly ask for.

Why I am a Mormon

As I am raising my daughter, I ask myself daily, what kind of example do I want to set for her? I want her to grow up seeing the joy and blessings that are received when you serve and give to others. I grew up in a home where my mom was a great example of serving others. When someone is sick, or afflicted in anyway, or when a neighbor has a baby, the women of the LDS faith are so quick to help out those families in need by babysitting children, taking in meals, and being a friend. Each time I serve someone I am probably more uplifted than the person I served. I love that we have a women’s organization that is so easily accessible to not only help, but to be helped. I love that I am able to teach my daughter the importance of serving others.

How I live my faith

I love having the chance to serve others. Christ’s ministry was completely centered around serving others. He is the greatest example of service. There are so many ways I can serve. I not only can serve my neighbors and friends around me, but I have the opportunity to serve my family each day. Every meal I make, every diaper I change, every bedroom I clean are some of the ways I can show my Heavenly Father that I am grateful for what I have.
