Hi I'm Aubry

I grew up in Farmington New Mexico. I was a Cheerleader for 7 years, I'm a Massage Therapist, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was a Cheerleader all through Highschool and 3 years of college. After college I went to Massage Therapy School in Scottsdale Arizona. I love to dance and sing and travel with my friends and family!

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church and have enjoyed all the benefits of being a member. My family is very close and we rely heavily on the teachings of the Gospel to get us through the really hard times that we have experienced. With out the Church I wouldn't know what path to follow. I wouldn't have a goal or know that I have a larger purpose in life. It makes me feel important to know that the Lord has a specific plan for me and that If I will follow the teachings of the Gospel I will have a happy life. I believe in the Church and I know that it is the true gospel. I know that having temptations and transgressions is part of life, feeling lost and uncertain is part of life, but you will always be welcomed back into the Lords loving arms. All that we have to do is follow the teachings of His Gospel.

How I live my faith

There is so much that goes into "Living the Faith". The first thing I think of is going to church. Every Sunday I get to spiritually feed my soul and have that feeling of a renewal and a strengthening of my testimony. Reading my scriptures, not just reading but studying and really focusing on understanding that the Book of Mormon isn't just some great story, it is History and another Testament of Jesus Christ. For me the biggest thing is prayer. Having the ability to talk to my Heavenly Father and express to him my feelings and tell him how grateful I am for all the blessings he has given me. To tell him my fears, knowing that I am not just talking to empty space means more than I could ever express. When I pray I get the feeling of comfort and peace that I don't feel any other time. Living the faith is so much more than just going to church on sunday's it's living the faith with EVERYTHING you do, and say through the entire week.

What is faith?

Aubry
Faith to me is believing without seeing. To have faith is to "Hope for things which are not seen, which are true" Book of Mormon Alma 32:2. It's just like Having faith that tomorrow the sun will rise, We don't know for sure but we have Faith that it will. Faith in God is more than belief in Him. To have faith in God is to trust Him, To have Confidence in Him, and to be willing to act on your belief in Him. Faith is a principal of action and power. It is not enough to simply say we have faith, we must show we have faith by following Gods example and keeping his commandments. Show more Show less
