Hi I'm Nathan Reeves

I love being LDS/Mormon and nothing in the world can change that and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I come from a small family. I have one sister. I like riding bikes when its not up hill and its just for fun. I am on my mission in South Carolina. I like bowling and hanging out with my cousins and friends. I graduated high school at Mesquite High School in Gilbert Az and I like to take pictures and fish sometimes I do both at the same time not as hard as it sounds Hahaha. Its lot of fun its more fun with family

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church . My family always read the scriptures and my parents taught me the gospel. They always told me that if I wanted to know if the church was true all I had to do was read my scriptures and pray. If I did this and ask in prayer if the church was true the Holy Ghost would let me know if it was true. I have felt his spirit at home, at seminary, and during my scouting and young men activities. This is why I know that the church is true.

How I live my faith

I try my best to live my faith. I work with the kids at church. I help my mom with the cub scouts. I 'm on a mission teaching the gospel to the people in SOUTH CAROLINA. I help with service projects and attend my church meetings on Sundays. I also go home teaching to several members in our ward. I help them when I can. One of the thing which is the most fun to do is to be a missionary every day of the week even if your not a full time missionary and talking to people about my church.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Nathan Reeves
A testimony is a spiritual witness given to an individual by the Holy Ghost. The foundation of a Mormon’s testimony is the knowledge that Heavenly Father lives and loves us; that Jesus Christ lives, that He is the Son of God, and that He carried out the infinite Atonement; that Joseph Smith is a prophet, which God called to restore Jesus Christ’s church to the earth; that we are led today by a living prophet; and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the Savior’s Church restored on the earth today. What is the difference between attending church and the temple?

Nathan Reeves
The temple is literally, as it has been throughout history, the "House of the Lord" The primary purpose of the temple is to provide a dedicated place where sacred ordinances needed for eternal life can be preformed. Our churches are dedicated public places of worship where Mormons and visitors can meet to pray, study scripture, partake of the sacrament, and continue to learn their responsibilities as children of God Show more Show less

How are the activities of the Mormon missionaries funded?

Nathan Reeves
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is actively involved in teaching the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. Most of them are young, single people serving full time for 18 to 24 months at their own expense. These missionaries share a message about Jesus Christ and His Atonement for all people. They teach about our Heavenly Father’s great plan of salvation, which allows all people the opportunity to return to Him. Show more Show less

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Nathan Reeves
Missionaries proselyte so that we the spread the joy of your gospel to every one who is open to hear it You may have seen missionaries riding on bicycles or walking door to door, sharing their message. They are doing everything they can to seek out people who may be interested in learning more about Jesus Christ and God’s plan for their happiness. They serve in pairs, for “in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.Missionaries volunteer full-time service for a period of eighteen months to two years. How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

Nathan Reeves
The Book of Mormon prophet Alma compared faith to a seed. If you plant a seed and nourish it, if it is a good seed it will grow and eventually bear fruit (Alma 32:28-43). It is the same with faith. If you are obedient to God’s commandments, study His word, and have a desire to believe in Christ, faith will grow inside of you. Show more Show less
