Hi I'm Jamie
I grew up in Arizona. I like doing any kinds of crafts, so I'm always ready for new projects. I'm a Mormon.
I go to school part time and work part time. I am going to school to be a High School Math teacher. I hope to someday teach adolescents to love math. I am married to a wonderful husband. He currently is going to school full time studying Entrepreneurship. He also works full time as well as a supervisor at a bank. As of right now we don't have any children but hope to in the future. I recently got into quilting and enjoy doing it in my spare time. I love watching movies and TV so am always up for a good TV show.
Growing up in the gospel of Jesus Christ I've always felt the love that my Heavenly Father has for me. I have felt the Holy Ghost give me peace, love, comfort, and guidance. I know I can always have the Holy Ghost with me if I am worthy and live righteously. I know I can gain a stronger testimony of Christ through the scriptures. I haven't always been able to understand the stories or lessons taught from the scriptures as easy as some people do, but I know if I continue to search, ponder, and pray I can learn and understand the teachings of Christ. This year my husband and I have made a goal to read a little bit of the Book of Mormon everyday. I have learned more about the stories and lessons taught than I have my whole life. I recently have taken an institute class about the Doctrine and Covenants. I have had a testimony of Joseph Smith restoring the gospel but since taking this class my testimony grown that Joseph Smith is and was a true prophet that restored the church. I know this church is true.
In my ward I help with teaching the children. I help teachers be organized with assigning talks, maintaining reverence, attending meetings, and being organized with different assignments. I try to fulfill my calling with the children by helping them feel Heavenly Father's love for them, learn and understand the gospel of Jesus Christ, feel and recognize the influence of the Holy Ghost, and prepare to make and keep sacred covenants.
