Hi I'm Jason Davis

I love skateboarding, music, film photography, and long hair! I love my fam. I love life and I love My God that gave it all to me!

About Me

I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. I have 3 older brothers, 2 little brothers, a little sister, and 2 parents who handle our craziness perfectly. I attended one year at Utah Valley University before leaving to Milan, Italy to be a missionary for this beautiful church. I love all things that are good. Probably one of the coolest things for me is when I learn something new from a simple conversation. It, and many other things make me happy and if you're not happy, then what's the point?

Why I am a Mormon

Because it's shown me how easy it is to be happy! There is so much in this life to be grateful and happy for. My love for, and testimony of Jesus Christ has shown me that, and this church has helped me find that love and that testimony. Because of this church I have a purpose, I have a direction in life, and I have the knowledge that my family will be with me longer than I can comprehend, and that's all I need.

How I live my faith

I love how exponentially my love for My God and My Savior Jesus Christ has grown from being a missionary. I am continually trying to act on every good thought no matter how awkward, tired, angry, or unwilling I am, I know that It comes from God, and even if it doesn't, It is still a good thing to do! I love what I am doing and I am trying to better myself everyday. Sometimes I fail and mess up just as we all do. But like Brad Wilcox says, "The road to perfection is FILLED with mistakes." That is how we learn. One quote from a talk by Elder Dale G. Renlund that I love is this: "Saints are just sinners who keep trying!" From reading this I want to let the Atonement of Jesus Christ help me in every aspect of my life, not just for the mistakes and hard times. But to help me continually better myself to become the person that God will want to have be His voice and His hands.
