Hi I'm Cassidi

I am from Arizona, I'm married and expecting my first child and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am in my early twenties and I have been married for two and a half years and am expecting my first child in a couple of weeks. In high school I enjoyed playing volleyball and basketball and I excelled in both. I had a desire to play in college and got a couple of offers for scholarships, however after a lot of prayer my answer was that I needed to focus on school. A few weeks later I met the man that would soon be my husband and he is the most important thing in my life. I went to a University to study Exercise and Wellness and am now working on my Masters Degree in Physical Education, and coaching high school volleyball. I enjoy crafting, cooking and exercising (when I'm not pregnant:) and I love my family and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Oh ya, and my two boxers Jaxon and Bella!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I have a testimony of this church's teachings. I have developed this testimony throughout my lifetime through prayer, scripture study and fasting. One of the main teachings of the church is the importance of families, and that families can be together forever. This is a huge part of my life because my family is SO important to me! I love having the knowledge that families can be together throughout all of eternity and not just until death do us part. The gospel teachings have changed my life and I know that they can change others as well by doing the same as I did. Read the scriptures and pray, asking in faith if these things are true.

How I live my faith

I live the gospel every day through my interactions with other people. One way in which I serve in the church is with the children. I help organize activities for the 8-12 year old girls, I also help to plan the eight year old children's baptisms. This is a sacred event and I love having the opportunity to work with these young children and see how baptism can have such a huge effect on them. I also have the opportunity to visit with other sisters in my ward monthly in their homes. I go with another sister and teach a short lesson, and then just talk about how they are doing and make sure that they are not in need of anything. I greatly enjoy doing all of these things! I feel that by serving in the church I can make a difference in other people's lives for the better.
