Hi I'm Keri

I'm a mother of five. I love to feed people yummy food. I'm trying to learn Spanish. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Most of my time is spent caring for my five children, cooking, and cleaning. There are moments that are overwhelming and many great moments too. Like when my little ones give me kisses or tell me that the dinner they are eating is the best dinner ever. I really like to cook and to watch my family and friends enjoy what I have made for them. I also like to work along side my husband in the yard or on projects around the house. We are also on a slow pitch softball team together, which makes for some great date nights.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. My life revolves around my family. Each day I strive to show them love and to build a stronger relationship with each of them. To me all of this would seem like unnecessary work if our relationships ended with our life on earth. I am happy that trying to put into practice the principles I learn in church and the covenants I have made in the temple make it possible for my family to be bound together for eternity.

How I live my faith

I currently hold three volunteer positions in my congregation or ward. I teach Sunday school to children ages 4 to 8. They are sweet children and eager learners. I am always happy to see their smiling faces. I also oversee a bi-monthly Thursday night meeting for girls ages 8-11. We meet together to do fun activities, learn new things, and to talk about the Gospel in order to help these girls to strengthen their testimonies of Jesus Christ. Most recently I have been asked to be our ward's camp director. This means that I will be helping the Young Women ages 12-18 plan and prepare for their 5 day camp this Summer which I will attend with them. Did I mention that this is all done in a Spanish speaking congregation? And no I am not yet bilingual.
