Hi I'm Jeni

I'm a paper using, rubber stamp inking, love to cook good eats mother of 4 and wife to my best friend. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of 4 small children. I find my days full of lanundry, bed making, cooking good food and making sure everyone with where they need to be ontime! I find great joy in being a mother. For as long as I can remember I've wanted just that, to be a mother. I am the 8 of 9 children and watching my parents find so much joy in parenting and being such great examples really instilled in me the importance of being a parent! I felt so blessed when I met my husband for the first time. He is a wonderful companion and a fantastic Father! I know that even when our little world is CRAZY and I feel a little short on patience, I am doing a noble work. Yes, I clean cheerios and squished bananas off the floor multiple times a day, I am so thankful to have little ones in my home to clean up after! I am also a very creative person. I find much joy and satasfaction creating things. I love pretty paper, rubber stamps, ribbon, glitter and anything that I can get onto a project! My little ones and I enjoy creating things together and I love watching them share their imaginations and creativity with me! I love being a wife and mother. I have days that are stressful and challenging, but I find comfort in knowing that I have direction and guidance in how to be the best I can be!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a wonderful family. My parents are wonderful examples of discipes of Jesus Christ. I was born into a home where the Gospel of Jesus Christ was at the center of everything we did. When I turned 8 years old I was baptized and given the wonderful gift of the Holy Ghost. I have loved the Lord, Jesus Christ for as long as I can remember. I have known that I am a Child of God, for as long as I can remember. I am so thankful for being rasied by parents who loved the Lord. Our family was founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it brought us direction and purpose. I have always had a wonderful relationship with the Lord. I learned for myself at a young age that the Gospel of Jesus Christ was true. I read the Book of Mormon and prayed to ask the Lord if it was true, and I received a very clear answer that yes, it was true! I know that the Lord has a plan for each of us. What is imporant to us, is imporant to our Heavenly Father. He knows each of us, better than we know ourselves. He wants us to be happy--He wants us to have JOY! He prepared a way for us all to have JOY and find ture happiness! I know that following the Savior's example brings me joy and helps me feel closer to him. As I strive to be like the Savior, Jesus Christ I at times feel I fall short. But, becuase the Savior has atoned for my sins, I can be forgiven and improve my life each day! I am a Mormon becuase I know that I am a daughter of my Father in Heaven. He has a plan for me--and he wants me to have joy! Following His commandments has brought me true happiness. I know this, and this is why I am a member of thd Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints. I have found happiness that I know only comes from living as the Lord would have me live. My husband and I are teaching our children the things we were taught as children, to love the Lord and to follow Him. I want to be with my family for eternity, that is why I'm a mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day! The gospel of Jesus Christ has an influence on every decision I make in a day! From what to wear to how to spend my free moments. I made a covenant to take upon myself the name of Christ when I was baptized and that decision influences everthing I do! I pray often in the day, thanking the Lord for what he has given me and asking for help and direction. I am a mother and seek for direction and guidance through prayer, studying the scriptures and inspiration as I go throughout each day. We read the scriptures together as a family every day--feasting on the word of God. On Sunday, we attend our church meetings. I have been called to teach the children ages 4-11 the gospel through song! I feel so thankful for this wonderful experience! I have been blessed with a love of music my whole life. I feel the Holy Ghose very strong through music and am having a wonderful time sharing this with the children in our ward! The Gospel of Jesus Christ isn't hard to understand! One of the first songs we learn as small children is "I am a child of God", as we teach these young children that they are important to the Lord, that they are His children, they learn that they ARE important! As we sing songs that are based on the doctrine of Jesus Christ, we are all edified! We feel joy and love and peace! I love the opportunity to work with the children in our ward--I love them so much! My faith is more than just going to church on Sunday. The Gospel of Jesus Christ influences my choices on a daily basis. I know that the Lord has a plan for me and that as I seek to know that plan, he will help me know what I need to do. I am thankful that I can exercise my faith and have it grow! I know that Heavenly Father loves me, that I am imporant to Him and that He will help me as I seek Him. I feel a very real responsibility to raise my children to be what the Lord needs them to be, and I know that He will help me do that.
