Hi I'm Lindsay Zollinger

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm Lindsay. I'm an awkward ginger from Arizona. I love my crazy family. I love listening to music any day, anytime. I love chili fries. And I love my Savior Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have come to know that God is real through reading the Book of Mormon. I have come to know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I have come to know Christ allows us to feel whole when we have been broken. He lifts sand builds us back up again. I have come to know that God has a plan for me and that I have a purpose on this Earth. I have come to know that families are everything to the Lord. We are His children and He wants all of us to live with Him. I have come to know that death is not the end. Because of the teachings found in the Book of Mormon and other scriptures, in ALL sense of the word--I AM HAPPY. I am at peace. The gospel of Christ brings me great joy and I hope others will feel the same joy that I feel by reading the Book of Mormon and applying the teachings of Jesus Christ into their lives.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by listening to the Lord. I try my best at this by being in constant communication with the Him. Whatever kind of day I'm having, I can pray to my Heavenly Father and He always answers back. I have come to know who the Lord is personally. Throughout my life, I have come to know that He is literally my Father and that He knows me and loves my 'quirky' self. A lot of times when I have a prayer in my heart, I feel a subtle feeling to do things for other people. Maybe call a friend, talk to a person on the street, or just do something simple for my family. I know that God wants to talk to us--whether through the scriptures, another person, or by some other means, He is directing our paths. We just have to tune out the noise of the world and listen to Him. And when we listen to Him, not only will we be happier, but we will be able to help other people feel the love He has for them. The gospel is simple. Keep the commandments. Trust God and love Him. In return, He blesses us with innumerable blessings. I live my faith by talking to my Father and trying my best to listen to the guidance He gives me.
