Hi I'm Benjamin

I love my Family and I love my Farm. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a great family (10 kids) with near perfect parents as an example. They always put family and service in the church first. I have followed their example in my life. I love my wife she's my best friend. I love my girls, 4 and 2, and my little boy, 6 months. I grew up on a family farm, since I could walk I have followed in my fathers footsteps early morning to late nights, I never wanted to do anything else. There is no better place to raise a family. My girls love to "go farmin" and I love taking them to work with me. When we get the time I love taking my family fishing in the ponds around our farm, visiting neighbors, and just driving around looking at fields and animals. My family is definitely a blessing in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was 8 I was baptized. I do not remember much of the experience, but I do remember driving to the church before my baptism telling my Mom my tummy hurt. She told me I was just nervous and it was just butterflies in my stomach. After I was baptized and received the Gift of the Holy Ghost I was immediately at peace. I was not nervous I felt like I could do anything. With the ups and downs of life the feeling of peace and comfort is always available to me. The church has taught me that when we follow our Savior Jesus Christ's teachings we are blessed. I have seen it in my life. I pray for guidance frequently throughout my day. Just small little conversations with my Father in Heaven gives me comfort and direction in how I should raise my family and conduct my business.

How I live my faith

Attending Sunday church meetings is just a small part of living my Faith. I have had many different responsibilities in the church, one of the best things I've learned is that I am to serve my fellow men. Not just members of my church but everyone around me. I try to be an example to those around me. I always look for ways to lift someones burden and lighten their load.
