Hi I'm Zack

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a Senior this year, I am first chair in the top band playing trumpet. I am also the first trumpet in the Jazz Band. This year and the last year I also played first trumpet in the Marching Band. In my whole High school career I have been in Marching Band Five years, Symphonic Band one year, Wind Ensemble three years, Jazz Band three years, sound crew for two shows and pit for one show. I have applied to BYU Idaho and plan on a mission in a year.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church unto goodly parents who took me to church. There I learned about Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and have enjoyed going. I know that we have a living prophet today that guides us through prophesy and guiding words. I know that he is the only prophet and that he will not lead us astray save god shall remove him. I go to church because there I know that people care for me and love me and I also know that, through them, God shows his love for me. I know that god loves me and knows me personally and he will support and improve me in all my hardships and shortcomings. He will raise me up to more than I can be.

How I live my faith

At school I am very cautious about people I associate with, what I do and what I say. I never had or will have a swearing habit nor do my actions say I am not a Mormon. I also do not surround myself with people that will provoke me to do something that I will regret later. I have been given opportunities to serve others through the organizations of the church. I was in charge of making Christmas gift baskets to the less active in our ward. All feedback from that has been positive and people really appreciate what happened.
