Hi I'm Ally

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother to 5 children. My house in never as clean as I want it to be, and there’s never enough time for all the good things of life to be accomplished. But there are sticky fingers and happy faces; singing at the piano and dancing everywhere; playing sports in the backyard; picking up trash in the neighborhood; teaching and learning from each other. My own personal delight is in reading and learning, and I have a passion for history and the founding of our country.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents have always been my greatest example of living a beautiful life. They instilled in me a love of God and a knowledge of right and wrong. When preparing for college, I decided it was time to make a choice about how I would live the rest of my life. I could think of no better goal than to have joy as my parents had in serving others and raising a family. I am joyful in the knowledge that my Heavenly Father loves me and that I can become more like Him.

How I live my faith

I am trying to be ready for the new experiences that the Lord opens for me daily. We have been blessed to have an extra child living with us for the year. I work with the 10 and 11 year old girls at church and help them discover who they are. I volunteer my time at the nearby temple and have recently been made treasurer of a local non profit. I homeschool and make healthy meals for my family. But most of all I try to listen to that sweet voice within that fills my soul with the peace of righteous living.
