Hi I'm Michelle

I'm a wife, mother, and former school teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Utah and raised most of my life in Arizona. I come from a family of all daughters...I love being in the middle! I graduated from ASU and taught 4th grade for a few years. My husband and I were married 10 years ago in the Mesa Arizona Temple. We consider this a great blessing as well as a source of strength as we've ventured on this journey together. We have three kiddos who are so much fun! I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love reading, digital design, and taking pictures of my kids. The 4th of July is my favorite holiday and I love collecting children's book. My favorite places to be are anywhere outdoors...the mountains, a park, the beach, my grandma's garden...I love the fresh air!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in a mormon family. I have ancestors that were among the early saints of the Church. I have always felt this was a rich heritage and I have drawn upon their histories and examples of faith as a standard for me to learn from and follow. Although I have this background I have come to realize that my knowledge and testimony of this Gospel and of the Savior, Jesus Christ is a heritage of my own in the making...a continual work in progress that I would like to leave for my posterity. I love learning and I love that there is always more to learn when it comes to the Gospel, it's teachings, and personal applications. I know that every question I have can be answered by prayerful and patient study of the scriptures and words of the Prophets. I love being a wife and mother and find that this brings the greatest joy and blessings in my life. I also feel that these are two areas that I need the most assistance and guidance...I am so grateful for the Savior and for His Gospel that teaches me in drips and drops at a time how I can grow in these responsibilities. I love prayer! I love that no matter what or when or why, I can pray. I know that our Heavenly Father is living and listening and how grateful I am for every answer, feeling, and assurance that I am His daughter.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving in my family. I feel that my role of a mother is nurturing and teaching my children. I feel that the Gospel provides every tool and resource I will ever need to help me do this. As a family, we try and have family home evening on Monday nights where we teach and talk with our children about the Gospel and do fun activities. We read from the scriptures as a family and kneel in prayer together. I am able to visit with other women in my church outside of our Sunday meetings. I have been invited to visit with certain women throughout the month as a way of building friendships and being aware of and assisting with any needs they may have. I also have two women that do the same for me. I look forward to their visits and what they teach me. I love attending the Mesa Arizona Temple. I enjoy what I learn about my purposes here and the blessings provided by our loving Heavenly Father.
