Hi I'm Michael

I am married and a father of two, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always been a a strong believer in Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father, I have always strived to be the best person I can be. I met my wife at work and after seven months we were married. Since we have been married we have had two beautiful children. Being a parent is the best and hardest thing I have ever done. Currently my hobbies are home remodeling, I wouldn't say that it is a dream of mine to do but it is something that I somewhat enjoy doing...anyone that ever purchased a fixer upper knows what I am talking about.

Why I am a Mormon

I have alway believed that you should only believe that which you have learned. In my past I was a member of a church that believed that mormans and catholics were a cult and nothing more. Even at that time I thought this was a mislead view. I always inquired of people of this belief to give me examples of times that they could personally testify to the truthfulness of these claims. I even would ask if they had even gone to a catholic or morman church every time they would laugh a say "no way!" I would then tell them that they have no basis for their views and that unless they would go to the church and confirm their statements, then there opinions didn't mean anything. Several years later when I met my wife who was a morman, she challenged me to read the book of mormon and take the discussions. Since I am strong in my faith and have no fear of being confused into something that I don't believe I took the discussions. I was challenged to read the highlighted portions of the book of mormon. I personally like reading my scriptured in context so I decided to read the book of morman from front to back. It only took about a week to complete, of course I wasn't very productive at work that week. While I read the scriptures I could feel the spirit while I read it, throughout the entire book the main focus of the scriptures was the love of our Heaven Father. I knew from reading the book that this is another testimony of Christ. The book of mormon never onces draws away from the love and sacrifice of Christ. I believe that the book of mormon is a powerful message from our Heavenly Father and I know that the mormon church is the true church. Everyday that I am a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I feel closer and closer to my father in heaven.

How I live my faith

I try and live my life in a way that is pleasing to God, I read scriptures with my family. Go to church, help our fellow members with any needs that they might have. I do my best to be the best person that I can be, I love my heavenly father and when my time on this earth is done I want to go and see him and start my next adventure.
