Hi I'm Patricia

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, retired RN, and daughter of God. I love all of God's creations, especially the wonder of nature. I love to be close to the the mountains. I am Italian and English and love a good pasta (food in general) I love family gatherings I enjoy a good Southwestern mystery, as well as my scriptures. I love the book of Isiah in the Bible and all of the New Testament, as well as, All of The Book Of Mormon, which is a second witness of Christs divinity. I lived on a prune ranch in California as a child, and went to whatever church would send a bus our way. I was Baptized by an Aunt into the Catholic faith as a small child and later in a Protestant church, which I attended through adulthood and marriage. My husband is also a convert to the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints, commonly known as the Mormon church and we are blessed with six children, and six grandchildren .

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a seeker of truth. No other affiliation with any of the other churches I attended or was baptized into satisfied my desire to know where did I come from? What was next after this life and what did that mean to me presently? I also had questions about marriage continuing into Eternity because I didn't feel that a loving God would separate us at death. And what could one do to obtain salvation? And what about all those, who had not received the gospel, back in time before Christ's ministry do for their Salvation? I had many question with few clear answers. My 'nutshell' conversion story: I was taking a Lamaze child-birthing class refresher. (I was happily pregnant again), from a Mormon (Latter day saint) friend, which started the process of my observing her life and devotion to her family as well as The Savior, Jesus Christ, and her church, "The Church of Jesus Christ,of latter day Saints, which in turn, brought me to asking and receiving the answers(over a time period of two years)to every question I ever had on my Spiritual quest, from my friend ,along with the Mormon Missionaries, and other Mormons I met while attending church. I studied scriptures, fasted, and prayed a great deal to know what was the truth. I would embrace, with all my heart, and was baptized at age 30yrs. and have lived my faith, since then, with gratitude and appreciation,to my father In Heaven, for helping me find the way home!

How I live my faith

I love my church family wherever I live, because I am welcomed and loved. I have opportunity to serve wherever I can with the gifts and talents Heavenly Father has given me. Through service, I have developed other talents over the years,I was not aware I had.I love my Savior,Jesus Christ, and endeavor to improve my life,by following His teachings, conveyed through reading and studying the scriptures, following the wisdom of our prophet, and wonderful leader of this World Wide Church Thomas S. Monson, serving in my community, and in church. Currently, I am a teacher of several beautiful young girls ages 8 to 12, as well as taking time each month to meet with three to four women in the church,we call ourselves Sisters. We meet to share a special spiritual message,as well as to become friends, and be available to give service when needed. I love sharing, with all others,my love for the Gospel,as well as dispel any misinformation, they may have learned, about our belief's. I have never been asked to do anything for My heavenly Father that has been too hard, because I know He knows me,and will answer my prayers and give me the capability to accomplish, whatever He requires me to accomplish. I have known great challenges, yet also great joys, sorrow's but never a sorrow, to great to bear, because I am NEVER alone.I am God's child..and love Him with all my heart, and continue to try my best,to follow Him.
