Hi I'm Emily!

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello all! My name is Emily and I am a student studying to become a Radiologic Technologist. In my free time, some of my favorite hobbies include: snowboarding, fishing, tumbling and cheering, singing, spending time with my family and I very much enjoy trying new things. I love to meet new people and love to share the gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I am mormon because I truly feel the truthfulness of this gospel as I have grown. Like everything, people grow. You grow as a person and grow spiritually. As a teenager I could say that I was just doing the Sunday routine. I knew the gospel was true and went to all my church meetings and classes and participated in activities, but church was only a weekly thing for me. I didn't truly partake of all the privileges that the church offers during the week. I didn't participate in personal prayer or scripture study and I never talked about the church to anyone. But as I started to grow and my testimony grew, I started to make the gospel a daily thing for me. I now feel the spirit of the Holy Ghost with me daily. I feel the power of the Savior and his Atonement for us so we could live on earth and be tried and use our free agency. I feel the pure happiness that the gospel brings me and I wish I could have partaken in this a long time ago. I love being an LDS member of the true church of Christ and I am grateful for Him and for His love he surrounds me with.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing the gospel with as many people as I can. A year ago, my best friend was baptized and is now going to be be sealed to her companion for all eternity in the temple. Six months ago, my boyfriend was baptized as a member of this church and he is now a faithful man of God. I love to do all that I can to talk to people about the church because you get to witness first hand the change of heart that they have and watch them grow as spiritual son or daughter of God. It has been such a blessing to be able to do so.
