Hi I'm Morgan

I am a recent convert. I was born and raised in Colorado. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Colorado and loved it so much I decided to stay here for college as well. My family means a lot to me so I wanted to stay close by and be with my little brother and sister as they grow up. I study art history and history and really enjoy looking at art and learning about the culture that created it. My best friend is my twin sister who also shares my love for art history and was a major reason why I was baptized.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized in January of this year. My sister was baptized last year and helped me understand the importance of this decision. My sister and I had a few close LDS friends in high school, but it took us years later to understand their faith and happiness. After a hard day, I was overcome by confusion and sadness and decided to read a letter that a missionary had written to me. I hadn't opened it for over three months because I was resistant to finding truth in any religion. In that letter, I found the truth that I had been hesitant to find. The missionary bore his testimony and explained his experience with faith and the church. I knew that what I read was true and that this truth was what I so desired for my life. After reading this I prayed for the first time in a long time and felt comforted and at peace. I made my decision right then to be baptized. I was taught by amazing Elders and then baptized soon after. Ever since, my life has completely changed. I am SO happy! For the first month I swore I never stopped smiling! I am so thankful for this blessing in my life and for finding what I was searching for for so long.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by striving to follow Christ's example every day. This is hard, but it brings me lasting happiness. I also go to church and am a ward missionary.
