Hi I'm Thien

I am a convert to the church and of Vietnamese descent. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a Business major at a major university in the metro-Phoenix area. I work for a bank and am about to begin a new chapter in my life by getting married I am a fan of all sports and love playing them. I played football and baseball competitively in high school, but still enjoy competing in these sports. I also have a love for music a sing as a hobby. My eventual goals are to graduate with my bachelor's degree and move on to graduate school. Upon completion of school I hope to move up in my company shifting to a career in finance. I will also work hard to have a lovely home with my future wife, where we can have children and rear our family with strong faith in Christ and a emphasis in obedience to God's laws.

Why I am a Mormon

I was convert to the church at the end of my teen years, and that has change the course of my life. I come from a good-strong family, with a strong moral code. Even though I was raise in a good family I would still make decisions that were not bad, but could have negative effects on my spirituality and future. Good friends of mine introduced the Gospel of Jesus Christ to me and after many, many trials (family/friend interrogation because of my decision to join the church) I was baptized. I am a Mormon, because I KNOW that this is the true church of Christ. I was lost on what the purpose of life was and how little, small decisions, if made poorly could change the path of my life for the worst. My decision to be baptized is the BEST decision that I have made. I now have the Holy Ghost in abundance in my life and have made many good small decisions and big decisions that have set my course in life straight. That straight path is with my Savior and what he would have my do.

How I live my faith

I served as a missionary for the Church in Houston, Tx for the Vietnamese people. I am now very blessed to have many opportunities to serve in the community and in my Ward. My responsibilities have given me the opportunity to organize events for single church members at a ward and stake level. Along with that I help organize church events at the institute of religion at my university. My most favorite responsibility is to teach a Sunday school class as well as help in a class for future missionaries.
