Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a Mormon. I'm from Thomaston, GA and I'm a chiropractor.

About Me

I am 30 years. I have a wife and 6 kids. I own my own office where I work as a chiropractor. I have only been in business for one year and I love it. My kids are 10, 8, 7, 5, 3, and 9 months (three boys and three girls). I like to do woodworking in my spare time, and I love to golf with my kids even though I am horrible at it.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and really must not have known what I had because in high school and part of the way through college I wasn't living the gospel. After years of looking for happiness in all the wrong places, I found it. I had to find out for myself if the church was true and that Joseph Smith really was a prophet just like Moses or Abraham or any other old testament prophets. I read the Book of Mormon and found out the truth for myself. I have never heard of another church that tells people to go home and pray and reflect on whether or not their church is the one true church. We invite everyone who wants to know what God has in store for them to "Ask and ye shall receive", "knock and it shall be opened unto you". There are answers to the questions you ask. I know that the church is the one true church of Christ and that there is a prophet today just like in the scriptures. If you would like to know for yourself, search your feelings and ask the one being that will always tell pure truth.

How I live my faith

In the church I have had several callings. Right now I have two. I teach the youth Sunday school class ages 12 - 18 and I am first councilor in the young men's presidency. I really enjoy working with these youth. My goal this year is to help them recognize the promptings of the spirit. In my class we are teaching the New Testament this year so in each lesson I try to find a way to incorporate something about how to feel the promptings of the Holy Spirit. I feel like if they learn to recognize answers from God they will always be able to be lead in the right way. The scriptures tell us that the anything that teaches us to do good or to serve our fellow men is from God, and anything that teaches us to do evil or to be selfish or hateful is of the devil and that is how we can know if the ideas or feelings we receive are from God. The people that learn to really trust him and follow these promptings will find that the church is true. Don't believe me. Believe in Christ!
