Hi I'm Angie

I grew up in Chile, I am married to a wonderful man, I have 2 kids, I love to do crafts and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five children born and raised in Santiago, Chile by my wonderful parents, Ricardo and Belen. When I was twenty-one years old, I had the opportunity to come to the United States on vacation to see the Salt Lake Temple and Temple Square. Upon returning home, I decided that the United States was the place where I wanted to build my life. I received my visa and moved to California to live with my Aunt and Uncle. While attending church, I met a very handsome man who sang in the choir. Around Christmas time, I invited him to go to the movies with me. Little did I know, that he would later become my husband. We now live in Colorado and we have two awesome boys, Ian and Jeremy. I am a stay at home mom, a home maker, a seamstress, and I love to do crafts of any kind.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was about 6 years old my uncle Freddy served his mission in Argentina. I didn't know then, but my parents got baptized when they were teenagers. They became inactive, so when they met, neither of them knew that the other was a mormon. After my uncle came back from his mission he started taking my brother and me to church with him and after a while my parents decided to go too. During the time my parents were inactive they used to drink and smoke but after they came back to church they quit and I was very happy about that. Since then we have been very active mormons. My dad was even called to be Bishop after a couple of years. From then on, I have been a mormon and it has been the only life I've known and I love it. Thanks to the church I am happy, I have an eternal family and I get to enjoy a healthy, clean life.

How I live my faith

My life is very simple but I try to live it as best as I can, hoping that Jesus Christ will be proud of me. I am not perfect and I usually make mistakes but everyday we have trials that teach us to be better and make the right decisions. I also try to teach my kids the importance of loving others, honesty, sharing, and being a good person. I was secretary in primary and I loved to work with kids. They have a very pure spirit that actually can teach you a thing or two. They are the future so we need to protect them and teach them about the world. At church we have the oportunity to visit each other and bear our happiness or sorrows together. In this way, we help each other to be better and become friends for life and eternity. We get to enjoy the blessings of service. I love my life and everything and everyone who is a part of it.
