Hi I'm Scott

I'm a Mormon. I like Scouting. I served in the US Navy. I am blessed to be married to a wonderful wife and I have 2 kids.

About Me

I am involved in scouting. I was converted to the church in 1999. I have been married to my wonderfully wife for 13 years, I have 2 children. I have proudly served my country in the navy.

Why I am a Mormon

When i was in the navy a friend of mine introduced me to the Book of Mormon, and shared some information about the church. Later i lost contact with him and meet the wonderful person who later became my wife and she asked me to go to church with her and i refused. Later as we were cleaning the house she found some papers in my bible which was what my friend shared with me and she asked if i know what it was. I didn't and she explained it was the foundation of the belief and i talked to some frieds of ours and the convenced me to go to church with her. I did and i could feel the love for heavenly father not sure what it was i attended one hour and was ready to go home but something made me stay and go to sunday school, again i was ready to go but again i stayed for priesthood. After 3 hours i was going home some young men (missionaries) asked if they could come visit and i said ok. When they came they shared a message with me so that i could understand it when they lwere leaving they asked me to read from and pray about the book of Mormon and I did.

How I live my faith

I work with the young men. I am a home teacher in which I get to visit families in the church to check on each of them and share a message from the prophet or general authority. I am the scoutmaster with the troop out of my ward.
