Hi I'm Lynnae

I am a wife of 22 years, mom to 4 incredible children, a special education teacher, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was a stay at home mom for 17 years. When my youngest child went to school all day, I went back to school full time to finish my degree. I now teach special education to children with severe/profound disabilities. I am just beginning my masters degree in special education. I love to spend time with my family playing games, watching movies, or just being together.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon. I love the teachings of the gospel and the guidance that it brings into my life. I can not imagine raising a family without this knowledge. Raising 3 teenagers can be tough. The values of society are lower than ever before, but the values of our family and church are not wavering. I also love the fact that I can pray anytime I feel the need to my Heavenly Father and gain guidance and comfort.

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily teaching in my classroom. Working with children that are not verbal, I have learned to rely on the spirit or impressions of what their needs are. On Sundays, I teach a class of children that are18 months old. You may ask what an 18 month old can learn at church, but through songs and stories, I teach them basic concepts of the gospel. They learn that they are children of a Heavenly Father, that they have a special family, how to be kind, an many other things.
