Hi I'm Joe

I'm a proud grandfather. I solve problems with computers. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Utah but have lived in South Africa, Minnesota, and now Arizona. My wife and I have four children, all of whom are grown and married. I have three wonderful grandchildren that are a joy to be with. I worked at a printing company when I was young and have recently started doing letterpress printing as a hobby. I enjoy hiking, reading and photography. I’ve worked in computer software development as a vocation. I’ve been a part of teams that have built software that has changed millions of lives through learning.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was raised in the church I had to decide as a young adult if I really wanted to be a Mormon. I reflected on the many ways it had blessed my life and the wonderful personal experiences I had because of my belief in Jesus Christ. I knew I wanted to continue to develop my relationship with the Savior and seek His guidance for my life. This has been a great blessing as I’ve raised a family and faced the challenges of life.

How I live my faith

My faith helps me go beyond my natural inclinations in serving others whether that’s my family, those I work with, people in our church or complete strangers. I know the greatest way we can live the teachings of Jesus Christ and find joy in our own life is to lose ourselves in serving others.
