Hi I'm Ty

I am a husband, a father, an athlete, a doctor and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband, a father of five, and an anesthesiologist. I played college basketball and still play rec ball. I coach youth teams.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know there is a God who is mindful of me and my family. The foundation of faith helps me provide an environment to teach my children values. My greatest wish is for them to develop into honest, confident, caring, spiritual and successful adults. As I try to teach them, I realize my own faults and try to elevate my life to the same standards. I know Jesus Christ suffered for my sins and has been resurrected. I know God lives!

How I live my faith

I live my faith day by day. I try my best to be honest, compassionate, and understanding. I often fail, but I learn from my mistakes. I pray for God’s help. I read the scriptures. I attend church. Even though I sometimes I feel lazy, tired, have crying kids, and don’t get much out of church attendance, often I feel inspired, encouraged, and touched by the Holy Ghost. That makes it worth it!
