Hi I'm Travis

I am married and have two beautiful daughters. I am a computer programmer. I love to rock climb. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a computer programmer. I work from home. I am a husband and a father of two beautiful girls. I love being so close to them all of the time. Growing up I always knew that I wanted a family and I couldn't ask for anything more. Of course I never expected I would be surrounded by so many girls! I have four brothers and only one sister. Fortunately my girls are patient with me. When I'm not at home or at church chances are I'm out rock climbing. I love it. Can't get enough of it. I love the physical and mental challenges of climbing. And I love being outside enjoying my Heavenly Father's creations.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. My parents showed me the happiness that could be gained by living according to their belief in Jesus Christ. When I was 18 I came to a point in my life where I saw two decisions before me. I could follow what I had been taught or I could reject it. I decided to follow it. From then on I was all in. I gave my all. I went on a mission for the church. I gave everything I had to teaching others about Christ. In return I learned how much Christ loved me. How much he loved others. I learned that when I follow him I will always find peace in my life. I am a Mormon because I was taught by righteous parents. I am a Mormon because I know that's what Heavenly Father wants me to be. I'm a Mormon because I have a family and I want to live the best lifer I can for them.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I love it. I get to teach a Sunday School class for 13-year-olds. There are moments when I'm teaching that the Spirit strongly testifies that what we are talking about is true. I love those moments. Those are the moments that I know living my faith can change the life of others. I live my faith be praying with my family. By reading in the scriptures. By taking my problems to my Heavenly Father and asking for help. By asking for forgiveness when I make mistakes and receiving it. I live my faith by waking up every day and thanking my Savior for that day, for my life, and for my family.
