Hi I'm Darrin

I'm a Husband and Father of three. I'm a smile maker. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have three children. I enjoy spending time with my family at home, at the park, or on the lake. I served a mission in Brazil. I am a Family Dentist, building smiles everyday. I enjoy playing recreational sports, and help coach my children's teams.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the good news that the Gospel of Jesus Christ affords us as children of a Heavenly Father. I am grateful to my parents who raised me in a home where the Gospel was not only taught but lived on a daily basis. The church continually teaches Gospel principles and encourages members to learn of Christ, follow Him, and strive to be more like Him. I find peace and freedom as I follow closely the commandments God has established. We learn of these laws and commandments during church meetings and in personal study of both ancient and living scripture. I cherish the Bible as a Holy Record of God's dealings with some of His children in one area of the world. I especially love the Biography of Jesus found in the first books of the New Testament. It is truly a testament that He is the Son of God and our Savior. I also know that the Book of Mormon is another witness of Christ's divine mission recorded by God's children in ancient America. There were truly "other sheep" that loved God, had faith in Christ, and lived gospel principles. Their spiritual history, recorded in the Book of Mormon, confirms God's love for all His children and strengthens my convictions to follw Jesus Christ. God continues to lead and guide His children through a living prophet today. Living scripture, or God's special instructions for us in our time, continually enriches my faith and desire to follow Christ. I am comforted by the solid foundation of faith that our family stands on as we together learn and live the teachings of Jesus.

How I live my faith

I enjoy every opportunity for providing service to others. I feel that we are all truly God's children here on earth and as such, brothers and sisters. Service to my fellow man is a fruit of my adoration and worship of my Heavenly Father. I enjoy working with those who are uncovering gospel truth for the first time. Working closely with new members of the church or those exploring the church and it's teachings is exciting. It is truly amazing to present lessons and instruction to these special people. I witness them unwrapping each principle of Christ's church like a spiritual gift from their Heavenly Father.
