Hi I'm John

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, but grew up in Ogden, UT, Las Vegas, NV, and Dallas, TX. I was raised in the Mormon church. As a child I always had a desire to serve my country, so as soon as I graduated High School I joined the U.S. Army and was assigned to the 101st Airborne, at Fort Campbell, KY. In the Army, I served as a Flight Engineer on the CH47D "Chinook". I am a combat Vetran. While in the service I married young to my first wife. After leaving the service I went into the field of Teldata and continue to work in the industry now as a owner of the Teldata Interconnect. At the age of 30 I was devorced from my first wife and then remarried a short time later. I am a Father of four and a devoted husband. I enjoy martial arts, scuba diving, 4 wheeling, flying, and the great outdoors. The most important things to me are my faith in Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, family, and friends. My business and clients are also important to me, but as I have matured in life I have learned that nothing as important than my faith and family.

Why I am a Mormon

Since a very young age I have believed that I/we are not just a product of evolution. I believe that there is more to life than this short our mortality. I believe in a Higher Being, a creator. I am an open minded person who has explored many different religions. In my search for the truth I began to ask many questions about where did we come from before we were born? Why we are here? Where are we going? Does God still talk to us today? Who has the authority to act in God's name? Who is God? Why do good people suffer? What do I have to do to make it back to live with God? Out of all the religions I have explored throughout my life, the Mormon Church was able to answer all of my many questions, makes the most sense to me, and brings an inner peace I have found nowhere else in life. It gives me purpose and hope for things to come. I believe that the Mormon Church is God's restored gospel. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints "Mormons" has all of life’s answers and for the faithful leaves little doubt. I believe that God has not abandon us and has proven this by offering his first born son, Jesus Christ, as a sacrifice so that we can return back to Him when we leave this life.

How I live my faith

I live me faith by doing the best that I can to keep God's commandments and to love my neighbor like I would like them to love me. By being a good husband, father, and friend.
