Hi I'm Belinda

Thanks for checking out the mormon.org website and specifically my profile. Have a great day and enjoy the ride(of life that is).

About Me

I grew up in Illinois, (love the midwest) but now live in Arizona. I am in my second marriage with a man I love more than anything. We got married back in 1998. I had 3 children, he had 4 and then we had 3 more together. We now have 5 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. I recently went back to college to earn a degree in education. I'm hoping I don't take any detours in this pursuit which I began more than 30 years ago. Wish me the best. Anyways, I have been a very active person all my life. Active in sports, volunteering in my childrens schools, athletic teams, cub scout dens, etc. Our family loves the out of doors and everything that goes with it (hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, just being outside). My most favorite place on the planet is Yellowstone National Park, but I love all National Parks. Thank you Theodore Roosevelt for creating National Parks. Life is great most of the time. Yippee!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the Mormon church when I was 10 months old. I have been an active member my entire life. I love my Heavenly Father and Savior Jesus Christ with all my heart. My knowledge of them and my belief in them have helped me choose a path in life that will lead me back to live with them someday. The gospel of Jesus Christ is a gospel of love, plain and simple. It is true and I know that with all of who I am.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday, unless I'm sick, on vacation, out of town, etc. I try not to miss if at all possible. I love going to church because I can renew my baptismal covenants each week by partaking of the sacrament. I take the sacrament as a token that I will remember my savior and follow his example and try my best to be like him and do those things that would please him. I take it to repent of those things that I did in my week that I was not proud of or know I could have been better in. I try to treat others the way Jesus would treat them. Life is not without it's challenges as you know, but I have been blessed to have the gospel of Jesus Christ as a central part of my life. It has given me strength, direction and guidance throughout my life and I honestly love being a member of Christ's church here upon the earth. He blesses me when I follow him.
