Hi I'm David Judd

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in the Church. I am a husband, father of 5 and a grandfather to a growing family.

About Me

Hi, I'm Dave. I am a husband, Father of five and grandpa of 10 and counting. I use to think Grandparents were exaggerating about the love they have for the grandchildren. Now I know what they meant. It is a very special kind of love. We have a family pizza business. I like music, sports and I am a tetris nut. I grew up in the Mormon Church and had an Alma-like experience where I came to experience the power of the Atonement and the love of the Savior. So, I am a Mormon as well as a Christian.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was going into my senior year of high school I decided I needed to change the person I was. I had had the still small voice whisper to me in a couple of situations that I had acted like a jerk and a liar. I knew I was not the person I should be. I even quit going to church for awhile. I had a good bishop who called to say he had missed me so I went back to church, but I knew I needed to gain a testimony for myself. I started reading the Book of Mormon and one day I was reading in Alma about a man named Korihor who was going around denying God and Christ. Then I read this testimony from Alma, "Will ye deny again that there is a God, and also deny the Christ? For behold, I say unto you, I know there is a God, and also that Christ shall come." I knew that what Alma said was true.

How I live my faith

One way I live my faith is by trying to share my testimony with people I meet. To me, the great message of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, is that God does speak from heaven to Prophets and will communicate with, in one way or another, anyone that wants to draw near to him. He is kind, patient and he does "freely forgive."

In whom should we have faith?

David Judd
People have faith in many things and people. For faith to lead unto Salvation, it must be Faith in Jesus Christ. We respect and honor Prophets, Apostles, Parents and others but should center our lives and hearts on the Savior. Show more Show less
