Hi I'm Lowell

I am from Missouri. I grew up on a farm before the days of modern farm equipment. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in rural Missouri in very humble circumstances. I attended a Baptist Church out in the country. The membership of the church was about 50. I played a lot of baseball and carried the love of baseball with me to the U. S. Marines Corps where I played shortstop and second base. I later graduated from college and worked as a criminal investigator for the federal government. I am married with six grown children, 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in 1970 in Omaha, Nebraska. Two young missionaries from the church came into our home and presented the gospel message of the restoration and plan of salvation. This messsage answered many questions and after study and prayer I knew the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints was Christ's church restored again upon the earth. Having this knowledge and a testimony that it is true, my wife and I have served two missions for the church, In Canada and Mexico City, in order to share this good news with some of God's other children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a good christian person. I have served as a Bishop in my church, this is similar to being a minister in other churches. I try to live the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." As mentioned before I have served two missions in order to share the gospel with others.
