Hi I'm Ryan

I'm a father of 5. I serve in my community and Church to bless the lives of my family and neighbors.

About Me

I'm a father of 5 children. We started our family when we were young, just a couple years into college. Our children have always been an important part of our lives. Much of our time is devoted to teaching our children and giving them opportunities to develop their talents and learn the value of work and service. I hold a full-time job and am grateful my wife has chosen to be at home and available for our children during key transitions in their day and lives. We work together on caring for our home and children, and value being Helpful, Healthy, Honest and Honorable in their daily lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into the Church to a family that taught me to learn about the Gospel and make my choices to follow it. My biggest decision was the choice to serve a mission in a 3rd world country, in spite of the challenges it would bring. The lessons I learned and experiences from that service changed my life. I continue to live the Gospel in order to set an example for my children. I want them to have the choice to live the gospel because they have seen me live it.

How I live my faith

I continue to be blessed as I serve in the church, fulfill my priesthood duties, and live the way Christ taught. It's not always easy balancing the demands of family, work and gospel but when I keep my priorities straight, the Grace of God bolsters me through the tough times. I have served in many different areas in the church. I have taught Sunday lessons to little children, managed finances for the Church, and even led a small congregation. I didn't always believe I was up to to the task, but was always blessed I serve in the community as a Boy Scout leader, as well as volunteering in other worthwhile activities both associated with my children as well as others.
