Hi I'm Anthony

I grew up in Gilbert. I love my family and playing volleyball. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to hang out with my family and to play piano and guitar. I am an Eagle Scout. I love to be outside and explore God's creations. After my mission, I plan to attend ASU and major in either electrical or civil engineering.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but that doesn't mean I haven't chosen and been converted as one would as a convert. I have had experiences and trials that have shown me and unshakably confirmed my knowledge of the gospel till I cannot deny it. Time and time again, i get the confirmation of the Spirit when I study my scriptures and pray to confirm this church is true. Even in my times of doubt and questioning. My spiritual conversion happened through realization that I can't go through life alone. I can't make it back to my Father alone. Only through Christ and his wonderful and very personal atonement that has saved me and brought me strength. How encompassing I have felt his love for me in my lowest times. I am forever in debt to Him. I know if we keep his commandments and apply the atonement in our lives, we can return to thank him one day. I know through study and prayer, that Joseph Smith is a true prophet and Thomas S. Monson guides our church today and hold the keys for our time. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and is the most true book of any book. I know that I can be with my family past death and for eternity. I know the temple is a house of God and there we can be near to Him. I know we can develop a personal relationship to our Savior through prayer and service. I know these things to be true and have developed to be an unshakable testimony to me that cannot be denied even in the darkest of days.

How I live my faith

I love this gospel with all my heart and wouldn't trade anything for it. Because it has given me true happiness, I like share it with others. Currently, I am preparing to serve a mission in South Carolina where I will be sharing this gospel in Spanish. I am honored to serve the Lord in this capacity. I communicate to my Father in heaven daily and read his words through the Book of Mormon and the Bible. At the end of the day, I live my faith by doing my best to do as Christ would do.
