Hi I'm Kyle

Small business entrepreneur. Scoutmaster for 16 Scouts. Working for Hewlett Packard. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married and have three wonderful sons. I love coaching them in sports, I love playing too, but have been unable to because of my back. My son started by reading books and I love to read now. We have "Read-A-Thons" at our house where we start reading on Friday night and we'll read as long and as late as we can, then get up Saturday morning and sit in the front room together just quietly reading books, sharing funny things or passages from what we read. It is so much fun.Reading good books. I love having crazy family night activities with the boys - we play board games together like Pictionary, Clue, Uno Attack, and other games. I really enjoy going Camping!! I camp once a month with all my Scouts and look forward to our family campouts where we take 4-5 days and head up to the mountains. We watch movies at home together on Friday nights while we eat Subway sometimes and even go out to Mesa Frozen Yogurt for a treat! I currently work for a company that is a partner with Hewlett Packard and am setting up a pest control company that I hope will grow and give me the opportunity to be debt free and provide employment opportunities for the youth in my family and our extended family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 years old - I still remember it to this day. I got dressed in a white jump suit and ran around the church welcoming everyone who had arrived to see me baptized. What a great feeling it was to be there - I knew I was making the right decision. To this day, I strive for those experiences in all that I do. I'm so grateful for what the gospel has taught me over the years, for the opportunities I have had to server god and his children in so many different ways. There is just no other way I could have gotten these opportunities without being a member of this church. There is no way there is room enough to hold what I could say or never how I feel about the gospel. I am thankful to say that I can express my love for my Savior and all that he has given me through His gospel. What a great older brother He is - His example is without question why I am who I am today. I love him, I love His church, I love my Heavenly Father and am thankful to be His son.

How I live my faith

Many of the ways I try and live my faith is through service. I have had many chances to hold various positions within the church - all of them voluntary. I served for 5 years as a Cubmaster in Cub Scouts. This is the little guys ages 8-10. What a blast it was. We had monthly Pack Meetings where i got to dress up as Darth Vader or Farmer Brown, or Tony Pushup and teach Cub Scouting to these young boys. Have been working with the older boys for the last two years in Scouts; ages 11-13. I have had some wonderful experiences with them and they are spectacular young men who I am honored to serve and help them to grow and learn.
