Hi I'm Bekah

I am married to an incredible man and am a mother of four. I love everything from snowshoeing to reading. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to an incredible man and am a mother of four young children. I love staying home with my children while integrating my personal interests in my everyday life. As a family we love to go camping, hiking, snowshoeing, and playing outside in general. I also love reading; children's and young adult books in particular! I am training as a Dyslexic tutor as I tutor my own daughter. In another season of my life I hope to use my love of reading and dyslexi tutor training to help other dyslexic readers come to love reading as well!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a Mormon but have chosen to remain an active Mormon because I have gained my own testimony of the truthfullness of what Mormon's teach; including that I am a child of God, I lived in Heaven before coming to earth, that life continues after death, and that families can be together forever. I have read both the Bible and The Book of Mormon and have found them to compliment each other as both of them are testaments of Christ. When I follow the teachings of Christ I am at my happiest. That is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I love actively participating in my church. For the past three years I have worked in our children's program. I find figuring out innovative ways to teach Children ranging from 3 to 11 the teaching's of Christ a welcome challenge. I also enjoy helping plan and organize a yearly children's program held during our worship service. Before working with the children I worked with the youth, mostly 13 & 14 girls, for ~5 years. I taught Sunday lessons and helped plan weekly activities ranging from making skirts out of bandanas to camping. I do this without monetary compensation, but I am far from not receiving anything in return. I have learned so much from the children and youth I have worked with; also the other adults that I have worked alongside with!
