Hi I'm Lareme

I grew up in California & Arizona. I am an insurance agent. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was pationate about skateboarding in my youth. I served a mission in Chile. I love my wife and two children. I have recently developed a passion for running long distance. I enjoy doing yard work and taking care of my garden. I love to learn. I never went to college but I feel that education and expanding one's knowledge is important. I have recently been called to serve as an early morning seminary teacher. I love the gospel and teaching it to others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because I was blessed to be born in the church. I have always believed the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It wasn't until I reached the age of 13 that I started down a destructive road. I spent my teenage years living a life that lead me to unhappiness. There were a number of experiances within a short period of time when I was 18 that caused me to notice the destructive lifestyle I was living. I began to pray for help to change but I was so involved in the lifestyle and friends that I couldn't get out on my own. My prayers were answered when my church leaders took special notice in me and spent many hours counciling me. They left it up to me to follow the council. I did so. I began to excercise faith in Jesus Christ by repenting of my sins. I began reading daily the Book of Mormon and began to feel the Holy Ghost in my life again. I not only knew the church was true I knew that Jesus Christ was my Savior. That he paid the price of the my sins and that I could be forgiven of them. Just as Alma felt, I felt great joy that exceeded that of my pain. I don't just know. I am convirted.

How I live my faith

It has been 9 years since I've been home from my mission. I love to servce in the church. When I first got home I served as an advisor in the 16-18 year old mens youth group. When I got married I served as a Cub Master in the Cub Scouting program. I am now a member of the high council. I have been assigned to work with primary leaders and the children of primary age which is 18 months-11 yrs old. I have also just been called be an early morning seminary teacher to high school age students. It is the hardest thing I've done in my life since I served a mission. I love working with the young people of the church.
