Hi I'm Steve

I'm from Washington. I was a missionary in Guatemala for 2 years. I'm a father of 5, a small-business owner, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a sports enthusiast. I love to waterski and barefoot. I'm a physical therapist. I'm a husband and a father.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised by parents who were members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Even though there was times that I wondered why we went to this Church and other did not, I took it upon myself to find out why I should continue. As a high school student in Washington I attended seminary class in an off-campus building each school day. It was during lessons and my personal scripture study that I began to recognize the feelings of the Holy Ghost that I had through my life. As I followed the Holy Ghost's direction, through the feelings I felt, I found that I lived without regret or remorse, and was a happier person. The full gospel of Jesus Christ is taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and that is why I am a 'Mormon.'

How I live my faith

I read the scriptures or words of living prophets each night before I go to sleep. I am currently reading the Book of Mormon in Spanish. I also pray, privately at least once a day, and try to do it each morning and night. I lead my family in prayer each morning and evening as well. Outside the house, I own my own business as a physical therapist and strive to conduct business in an honest, Christian manner. I treat each person with respect, am honest with them, and try to spead happiness with those I encounter each day. I take opportunity as it arises to share my faith in Jesus Christ with others. I serve other members of the Church on Sundays and as occasion arises throughout the week.
