Hi I'm Brian

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering at BYU and it is awesome. Things that I do to occupy my time include a mess ton of homework, backpacking, building and flying RC airplanes, reading some science fiction and the occasional video game.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it has been confirmed to me by the holy ghost that this is God's church. This happened me over time and by reading the Book of Mormon and living God's commandments.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving those around me and enjoying life almost everyday. I say almost because I have a severe skin condition called Netherton Syndrome. This skin disease amounts to having a severe rash all over the body and can limit my functionality to the point that I can hardly move. I have learned from my study of the gospel that it is so important to have a physical body that in the premortal existence I accepted a body with physical weaknesses. This brings comfort to me because it helps me understand that the pains we feel in this life are for our benefit and will be short from the eternal perspective.
