Hi I'm Bryan

I was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. I own my own business in Mesa, Arizona and a business in Sonora, Mexico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have 4 children (3 girls and 1 boy). Two daughters are in College and the youngest two are in High School and Jr. High. As a family we have lived twice in Mexico and we love that country. Though Mexico is going through some really tough times right now, due to the ecomomy and the drug trafficking, I am amazed by the warmth of the people that live there and the beauty of the country. I am captivated by fishing, either by doing it or reading about it or dreaming about it. I also enjoy collecting and shooting firearms. I feel strongly that guns have played a vital role in the founding of our Republic and the freedoms we now enjoy. Preserving these freedoms and upholding our Constitution are important topics in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church in my late teens just before I had the opportunity to serve a mission for the Church in Ecuador. As I look back on those early years it is obvious to me now that I had a testimony of the truthfulness of the church but that the conversion of my whole being would came later. Growing up in the Catholic Faith was a good stepping stone for me as it gave me a religious foundation that was necessary for me to know that religion is not only important in my life but vital. Those feelings came from my parents as I saw their example and desire to seek out our Heavenly Father. As every year goes on and every good and bad experience comes my way I become more and more dedicated to the Church and can see the Hand of the Lord in my life.

How I live my faith

I have been married now for 20 years and my wife and I have never turned down any opportunities to serve in the Church. Right now I am serving as a secretary in a young men's group. Before that my wife and I were teaching a sunday school class for 12-13 Yr. olds. Before that when we lived in Mexico I worked with the youth there and visited the needy. We'll help out where we have been asked for a few month to a few years. My wife and I have been asked to help "here" or "there" and we always accept these "callings" knowing that as we serve our neighbors we will be learning and growing ourselves. We also want our children to see our example of service and follow those examples in their lives.
