Hi I'm Cami

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a high school teacher trying to make a difference in the world. I love to be outdoors to enjoy hiking, camping and seeing the colors of nature. I am a tall single woman.

Why I am a Mormon

Life can throw you a curve ball. My life has not gone in the direction I thought it would take. Growing up as member of the church, I thought I would get married and start a family of my own so I could share with my children the knowledge that I have of my Heavenly Father. I want so much to have the experience of having my own children and raising them up with strong morals and principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. However, God's plan for me has been very different. Throughout my life, I have learned to seek for God's help in my life in understanding my purpose and path in life and what I can do to be happy and feel at peace with the life God has given me. I have found that relying on God to find that peace helps me get through the heartache and pains of life. I can feel peace when I am close to God and when I seek for his help in finding the direction my life should take. It gives me confidence to move on, to push forward and to hope in my dreams of having my own family.

How I live my faith

I'm so glad I get to work with the youth of the church. The youth of the church inspire me to become a better person because of their strength, their faith and trust in God. As a youth group, we plan meaningful activities that help us learn and grow to help strengthen our character and learn how to manage our behaviors and handle hardships in our lives. We seek for opportunities to help those in need in our community by planning service activities and reaching out to those in need.
