Hi I'm Emily

I was color guard captain in high school. I am one of eight siblings. I am preparing to serve a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in the sunny state of Arizona and I am one of seven brothers and sisters. I have lived in Arizona most of my life and have grown up going to school, being apart of a Girl Scout troop, being a member of my high school color guard, and traveling to fun places like New York, Chicago, Germany, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.

Why I am a Mormon

You might hear peoples remarks on how Mormons are just so happy all the time, or they have something that makes them different. You may have even said these things yourself and let me tell you they are so true! Although I was born into the church I have always had they choice to accept the gospel or not and I chose to accept it because of the happiness and joy I receive from it. Don't get me wrong I have had hard times and days where I just want to give up but everyday is a new day and through the gospel I can receive strength and encouragement which makes going through life easier and happier. I am a Mormon because of the joy I get when I live what I believe.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my actions. I have chosen to serve a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (the Mormon church). Growing up I have always strived to do my best, helping others, being kind through my words and actions, and following the advice of my family, parents and leaders. If you have a big family you'll understand and if you don't have a big family you can take my word for it, your patience is tested multiple times and sometimes it's hard but the wonderful examples of my older siblings and the way they live their lives is what I strive to be. My life is not perfect but I try a littler harder everyday to be a little better than I was yesterday.
