Hi I'm Boulder Terry

I'm a Family man. I'm a burn victim, seeking to bring hope to others. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love the outdoors, and anything that relates to it. I love hiking, camping, snow-sports, sports in general;I have a desire to learn, and am completely open to try new things! I love wholesome activities with my family/friends, and i love serving others and being a friend to everyone. I come from a large family of 8 brothers and 5 sisters, my family, is my best friend. I went to college for a year, plan on majoring in business. I'm accident prone, so I have had my share of injuries, near deaths and trials. I love life, and can be a major dork sometimes, but im cool with that.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ suffered for me and He has taken upon Him all of my guilts, my problems, my pains, my afflictions and my sins. He knows me on a personal level, and knows exactly how I feel. He loves me, He set the example for me to do my best to become like him. It was through sincere prayer and studying His scriptures that I realized for myself that the Book of Mormon is true, and that Gods Kingdom has once again been re-established on the earth today through His latter day prophet Joseph smith. Knowing this has helped me to have hope in the future, to sincerely care for all people, and to feel joy in my life.

How I live my faith

I served a mission in Alaska, and now I'm home and have the opportunity to live the gospel as a regular person who has a strong desire to follow Christ. I often find myself have conversation about God and gaining a relationship with him. I have these conversations with people i meet for the first time, i believe in wholesome conversation; I love getting to know people and asking them inspired questions as to where they stand with God. I do my best to be an example of someone that loves everyone and is there to uplift you and find the good that day, Everyone deserves to be happy, and Christ knows the way. He lived it by example.

Why is authority to perform a baptism important?

Boulder Terry
Jesus Christ by example, showed us the importance of authority, He didnt just get baptized by anyone, He went to a specific person, John the baptist. Whom had the authority to baptize, and recieved that authority from God through his levite Lineage. John didnt however recieve his authority from going to school, or waking up one morning wanting to baptize people, he was called of God, and was even prophesied of previously to baptize Christ. As sincere followers of Jesus Christ, we should seek one who has this authority, who has been called of God. Search the bible, and you will find that a restoration of truth and Priesthood authority had been prophesied of, and has now since 1829 been restored to the earth today through a Prophet of God even Joseph Smith.
