Hi I'm Greg

I'm a husband, a father, a physician, founder of Shun the Sun foundation and race, a sun devil fan, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful woman who loves and supports me. We have been blessed with five wonderful children that keep me very busy and bald. I love to spend time with them and our favorite thing to do as a family is to watch movies and eat popcorn and junior mints. I am very busy at work and at home, but I still find time to complicate my life by adding other activities like training for triathlons. After practicing medicine for several years, I became very interested in working with and trying to prevent skin cancer. While trying to teach about it, my wife and I decided, to start a skin cancer race and foundation. Our goal is to make a difference in the world.

Why I am a Mormon

As a young man, I was able to taste of the sweetness that comes from the Savior through repentance. From that wonderful experience I gained my testimony that Jesus DID what He said He DID. Because of His life and sacrifice, we can feel peace and have hope. Throughout my life, I have realized that the Lord will guide us through the challenges of life as long as we put Him first and put our trust in Him. In all my years of schooling and residency, I was able to see miracles happen in my life and my family's life because of our faith in the Lord. I know that He will help us along our journey in life as we have faith in Him. One of the greatest guides to my life has been the Book of Mormon. I have read it over and over, and I am so amazed that each time I read it I find new things that guide me and help me in my life. I know that it was written for me and for my family and if I will continue to read it, I know I will be blessed.

How I live my faith

I am currently working in a leadership position in our church. I am very involved in the day to day events of our local church and community. We work very closely with the youth as well as with the adults. I also work with the Boy Scouts of America and I love what the boy scouts teach young men. I also have many opportunities to teach others and this gives me a wonderful chance to study and learn more about the plan of salvation. I am happy to be a mormon. ;-)
