Hi I'm Jarrie

I grew up in Columbia, Missouri. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom of four beautiful children. I love to do things that are creative such as, sewing, quilting, jewelry making, interior design, cooking, and the list could go on. I love to read, be physically fit, and garden. I love music and singing. For several years, I was able to participate in the Colorado Mormon Chorale, which is a community choir in Denver that would perform throughout the metro area.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, my parents were raised mormon and so I was raised mormon. Some might say well then, you didn't have a choice but to be a mormon. But as I grew up through my teen and adult years my testimony of the gospel has been grown and been confirmed many times. I love my Savior Jesus, Christ. I am so grateful to know where I have come from, where I am going and to know that my family will be together forever. I am grateful to know that there is a living prophet on this earth. How comforting it is to have guidance from my Heavenly Father through daily scripture study and prayer. I am so blessed to be a mormon, while it might not be popular...I have comfort know the I am a Child of God and I know that he loves me.

How I live my faith

Throughout my years of being a stay at home mom, I have had the opportunity to participate in several callings at church. Right now I am working in the Nursery with little ones under the age of three. I get to sing with them, and I just love how their little personalities and spirits light up when we sing a favorite song. I also get to work with the 9 year old boys in the Cubscout program.
