Hi I'm Harry Paxton

I grew up in a small mining town in southern Californina in the 1970's. Today, I recruit businesses to my city. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of three, two beautiful daughters and one 14 year old son who is either going to keep me young or wear me out. I love to spend time with my family watching movies, camping, fishing and designing our backyard landscape. My wife and I have also tried to set a very good example for our children from how they should treat everyone they meet to valuing the opoortunity for a good education. Today we are very proud of them for the good work they do and their commitment to being the best they can be in whatever they do.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through my experiences in the church and my own personal stuggles in life I have gained a close relationship with Jesus Christ. I know that he is my Lord and my Savior. I have been blessed where ever I have gone to be around excellent members of the church who have helped inspire me to live the gospel more fully. The church through its inspired leadership helps us navigate through the challenges of life in a manner that would be pleasing unto God. It is an excellent way of life and I know the life God would have me live.

How I live my faith

The church gives me the opportunity to serve my fellow brothers and sisters. I have had the opportunity to serve in several callings in the church. This is one of the great things about the gospel of Jesus Christ - everyone has an opportunity to share their abilities and to serve others. One of my basic assignments is to visit families along with another brother each month in the church to share a spiritual message and to assist in anyway I can. This gives true meaning to calling each other brother and sister. Just as Christ served each of us we are to serve each other.
