Hi I'm Annette

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife a mother and a grandmother. I'm enjoying all those roles. Life can be hectic but I so enjoy my family. I love to read and sew for my "me time" and I love to collect recipes and try them out on my family. They are a good sport about it too, which helps: I'm just starting to love gardening, I've only done it for 3 years and every year I learn something new.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. My ancestors on my father's side joined the church in the 1800's and made the trip across the plains in very harsh conditions. It made me really look at the church and the gospel to see what they saw to go to such hardships. I've prayed and read the Book of Mormon, and the Bible cover to cover. I've prayed about it and recieved my own answer that it is true. I have peace in my life. I see others around me and see the pain and heartache from choices that they have made. I'm glad that I know that Heavenly Father is a loving Heavenly Father. That he cares and more importantly KNOWS US PERSONALLY. I know that Jesus is the Christ. I know that he suffered on the cross for me, personally. I know that they will answer are prayers. Will life be rosey and never have heartache. No. But I know that I'll never be alone.

How I live my faith

I try to be kind to all that I come across. I see those around me and remember what I've been taught... that every soul is great in the sight of God. I have to really remember it when I'm at work and the customer is really yelling at me.: I go to church every Sunday and I serve in the church by visiting others in the ward. I'm also over what we call Compassionate Service. (which I hope self-explanatory) I sing in the ward choir , not that I"m a good singer or anything, but I enjoy it. Our choir director is a good sport:

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Annette
I personally think about this question often. You see my brother died when I was in High School. He was young only 30 . It was sudden and totally out of the blue. His wife was due to have their 5th child on the day he died, but his only son was born 17 days later. I often think about life after death, you tend to after the death of a love one. We believe that when we die we all go back to Heavenly Father who created us. We believe that just as our birth was a step in our progression, so is death. I see it as our next chapter in life. I personally look forward in seeing my brother and grandparents again. I also know that the gospel of Jesus Christ will continued to be taught to those who have not received the gospel here on earth.
